Introduction
For the Final Project, we were tasked on animating a 3 minutes infographic on a selected theme and topic. This infographic is to be created in the form of a story, something engaging to the audience. It is also best to use the information gathered from the Flip Classroom to applied in forming this animated infographic.
This process includes :
1. Research & Title of Infographic
2. Script
3. Moodboard
4. Storyboard
5. Creating Assets
6. Animating
7. Sounds
My group and I segregated the tasks as the following :
1. Animating - Jonathan Hiew (Leader)
2. Creating Assets (backgrounds, vehicles) - Jenani
3. Creating Assets (characters, and data) - Joe Lanvin
4. Sounds - Kelly Cheah
Let the learning commence!

Research & Title of Infographic
So, we were given the theme of Men vs. Women, and initially, the brainstorming process was super fun. We voted and finally landed on the topic of how Men and Women were brought up in Asia. We were aware that this was an interesting topic, however we failed to notice exactly how difficult it would be to extract information and specific statistics to create the animated infographic.

After some time, we decided that this topic wasn't going to cut it, as it was way too difficult and we finally decided to change it to .......
Men vs. Women : Vehicles
In this topic each of us would find out about separate features:
Licensure - Kelly
Accidents - Jen
Etiquiette - Jon
Maintanence - Joe
Below is the information (in Notes) I gathered and some of the photos of infographic for reference.

Script Writing
Jon, the group leader suggested a story line for us to fit our idea in :
We stuck to this storyline, and each of us wrote the script for the parts that we had researched about. Below is the script attached :

Moodboard
It was then time for us to work on the moodboard, and this moodpboard had to include elements stated below :
Once again, we split the tasks amongst us, and I was incharge of choosing the specific typeface to be used in out animation.
I went on Pinterest and got some inspiration.

Below are the compilation of typefaces to be used after discussion :
Below is the complete moodboard :

Assets
As Joe and myself were incharge of splitting the assets, we decided that I would do the animation for all things backgrounds, vehicles, and so on. Whereas Joe would do the Characters and the facts.
Below is the process as to how I went through with the Assets. I first screenshoted the animatics, that Jon did and created dartboards accordingly. Then I proceed to illustrate it. Below is the rough process. I have grouped them according to minutes.

Animating
While we were creating the assets, we had split them into groups according to the minutes. Hence, once the first minute was finished we sent it over to Jon and he began animating. We worked in layers so that it would save us some time .
Below are some screenshots of Jon's work.

Sound & Credits
Kelly who was in charge of sounds, added in the voice overs into the completed video. Here are some screenshots. Jon also completed the credits section, though it was not really required.

Reflection
I won't lie, this assignment was difficult. More so, with the ongoing Projects, Exercises and Flip Classroom that we had to prepare every week. It was easier for us to have done it in layers though. One part that was tough for me was creating of the assets, as I did not have much experience using Adobe illustrator and actually.... well actually illustrating. But, I am grateful to have gone through this, because if not now... then when, honestly?
TIME MANAGEMENT!!! again , and again is something that I have to constantly work on, though I must admit, it was tougher this time. I only wish that I can learn and gain from this experience and practice it in the upcoming modules.
